Thanks to all who attended our Kohler sponsored dinner meeting in November. Our guest speaker was David Doyle, Kohler’s Senior Showroom Training Specialist. David’s presentation was titled “Building Your Business”.
Throughout the night David shared helpful tips (and many laughs) on how to build your business and your brand.
He stated several times that being authentic was the key to gaining our clients’ trust. He talked about the language we can use to create a team approach with our clients i.e. “How are we going to tackle this project?” and the importance of connecting with them on a personal level.
He offered solutions on how to connect with our clients and stay connected throughout the remodeling process and beyond. He shared insights into the female buyer, why she is so important, and how specifically to understand and connect with her.
David’s personal and engaging presentation style led to great questions from the audience and discussions that continued throughout the evening. I really enjoyed hearing from many members days later talking about the ways they were already implementing some of David’s strategies in their own businesses!
