Where can you find more than 7,000 members of the building industry happily engaged? If you attended the 2017 JLC Live New England Residential Construction Show at the Rhode Island Convention Center on March 24 and 25, then you found them. According to Informa, the company that runs the show, there were 7,400 attendees and more than 250 exhibitors. Plus JLC Live featured many workshops, demonstrations and of course, parties. Topics covered eight key areas: building performance; business and project management; business finance; design; human resources and legal issues; materials and techniques; sales and marketing; and technology.
Rachel Rusch, Director of Membership Relations and Strategy from National NARI, was on hand to meet and greet EM NARI members and potential members. Sean Reynolds and Tiffani Tartaglia represented the EM NARI Membership committee on Friday while Board Member Justin Zeller of Red House Custom Building manned the booth on Saturday.
“I was excited to see the show so well attended and I had many meaningful conversations with those that stopped by the EM NARI booth. The main topic discussed was how our organization can provide the resources to help support professional development and enrichment. Just like the others booths throughout the show, ours was another tool/product that is available to help advance in the industry,” said Sean Reynolds, an account executive with Woodmeister Master Builders.
